Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SensorConsole (the "Service"), operated by Virtual Random LLC (Reg. No. 400481260), 75a, Erosi Manjgaladze Street, Nadzaladevi District, Tbilisi, Georgia ("Virtual Random LLC", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

SensorConsole is a free dashboard that lets you connect sensors from various manufacturers and view their readings in one place, with an option to share individual devices publicly. Some connections rely on third-party providers' or hardware manufacturers' own protocols and services, which are outside our control.

2. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email address to create an account and are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at sensorconsole@protonmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates the rights of others;
• Attempt to access another user's devices, readings, or account without authorization;
• Send fabricated or malicious data to our sensor-ingestion endpoints;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service beyond what's necessary for your own legitimate use of it;
• Use the public map or share links to collect data about other users' devices for unrelated purposes.

4. Your data and our use of it

You retain ownership of the sensor data you connect to the Service. By using the Service, you grant Virtual Random LLC a license to store, process, and display that data in order to operate the Service and provide it back to you — including generating personalized analysis and insights from your own data. As described in our Privacy Policy, de-identified or aggregate reading data (never including information that identifies you) may also be used to train our proprietary global data models. Camera devices are excluded from this entirely — camera images/snapshots are never retained or used for training, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Important: sensor readings are informational only

SensorConsole displays data reported by third-party hardware and services we do not manufacture or control, and is provided for informational purposes only. Readings — including but not limited to water leak, air quality, radon, soil moisture, or any other sensor category — should not be relied upon as the sole basis for safety-critical decisions. For matters of health, safety, or property protection, consult the sensor manufacturer's own guidance, certified equipment, and/or a qualified professional. We are not responsible for damages arising from reliance on readings displayed through the Service, from a sensor's own inaccuracy, or from a connected sensor or provider becoming unavailable, delayed, or discontinued.

6. Third-party integrations

Some sensor connections depend on third-party companies' own APIs, cloud services, or communication protocols. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, pricing, or terms of those third-party services, which may change or become unavailable at any time independent of us.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Virtual Random LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, property damage, or personal injury, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

9. Free service

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce paid features or plans in the future; if we do, we will provide reasonable notice before any charges apply to your account.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting sensorconsole@protonmail.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
