Smart plugs, energy meters and sensors
Connect your Shelly devices to an online dashboard beta
Shelly makes smart plugs, relays, energy meters and small sensors that are popular for tracking power use. SensorConsole can read a Shelly device through Shelly Cloud and chart its power, energy, temperature or humidity next to your other sensors, so you can monitor it remotely from one place.
This connection is in beta: it is newer than our other integrations. If a reading does not come through, email sensorconsole@protonmail.com and we will sort it out.
What you can monitor
- Smart plugs with power monitoring
- Energy meters
- Temperature and humidity sensors
- Relays and switches (on/off state)
How to connect Shelly online
- Get your Shelly Cloud key In Shelly Cloud, open user settings and copy the authorization cloud key. The same page shows your server address.
- Find the device ID In the Shelly app, open the device, then Settings, then Device Information.
- Add it to SensorConsole Choose Connect a sensor, pick Shelly, and enter the server, key and device ID.
- Alternative: push from the device Newer Shelly devices can call a web address from a script. Use a generic push device if you would rather send readings directly.
Use cases

Questions about Shelly and SensorConsole
How do I monitor Shelly power usage remotely?
Connect the device through Shelly Cloud, or push readings from the device, and open your SensorConsole dashboard from anywhere.
Does it work with Gen1 and newer Shelly devices?
Both layouts are handled where Shelly Cloud reports them.
Is this connection stable?
Shelly Cloud's older endpoint may change over time, so this connection is in beta; the push option is the long-term alternative.
